Heirlooms above level 80?

Quick query about Heirloom items. Obviously they level from 1-80 currently, but will the current heirlooms level above 80 assuming future expansions raise the level cap?

This is actually a pretty accurate guess. It is currently our intention that the heirloom items will stop at level 80. Additionally, we are looking into ways to prevent the exp bonus from working when leveling past level 80.
